Last week we did some portraits and they turned out pretty well. Except Catherine would ABSOLUTELY NOT smile. Tried a bunch of stuff but got nothing. Afterwards while waiting for the previews, she ran around the waiting area in circles laughing her head off. Little turkey.
Catherine gave the same look for every picture. At least she wasn't actively frowning.
And luckily, Catherine didn't cut a chunk out of her hair until after these pictures were taken.
(By the way, I like how you can get bigger pictures with this new blogger editor, but sometimes it's a pain in the rear!)

Your kids are cute! It seems like there is always somebody who refuses to smile. You can pick on her later in her life, now you have proof!
You know Catherine is her own person, probably the way to really influence her is to tell her she can't. Unless she already has that figured out.

Too funny! Rachel is the same way. Now that she is older we can bribe her with M&Ms... Super cutre girls!
