Elizabeth!!

This week is going to be all about Elizabeth. On Saturday she finally decided that she wanted her ears pierced. She told me that almost everyone had pierced ears and now she wants them too. I think the final straw was going to a party where one little girl had just got hers done and another littler girl had pierced ears too. She's kind of excited, but wary. When she first asked about it I played up the pain of it so she'd think twice. Now that she's decided, I've been downplaying it. I told her that I can give her some medicine that will help. She said she wants a blessing instead. She's awesome!

We also moved a bunch of stuff around this weekend so Elizabeth has her own room. It's the most exciting thing that's happened to her, EVER! She has a bunkbed in there so she sleeps on the top and we made the bottom into a couch and hung a sheet up to enclose it. She also has a bright pink rug and later this week we'll be putting in a desk. 

She has big plans for her room too. She and Sophie are going to make it into a clothes store. Elizabeth will be the designer and Sophie is the assistant. They are going to design and sell clothes to all their cousins. She has already planned where the cash register is going to be and where the changing room will be located. Now she just needs to learn how to sew!

We also need to get her a set of scriptures. We didn't get her any for her baptism because they are issuing a new edition starting this month. There's not much difference from the old edition, but since all her sisters and most of her friends will have the new set, we decided to wait. 

So hooray for Elizabeth! She's a smart, very helpful and thankful young girl!
