I swear there are gremlins in my house that eat socks out of the dryer and those little plastic lids that go to sippy cups out of the dishwasher. I start out with the same number of cups to lids, and we all have two feet in this house so at least two socks get dirty, but when it comes time to put away I always end up missing some.
